Eternal Provision

Genesis 3 shows us that we are sinful. Genesis 3 also shows us God made a promise for our redemption. Based on that promise and the following years of God’s revelation showing the plan’s fulfillment, we have a lifetime of pleasure learning of God’s graciousness and provision.

Basic Info:

Humans are sinful: Psalm 51:5 & Romans 7:18

God is Holy and cannot tolerate sin: Psalm 5:4-5, Ezekiel 18:4, James 2:10

At the same time God is loving; He sent His Son Jesus Christ to live and die for the sins of the entire world: John 3:16, Romans 3:23-24, Romans 6:23, 1 John 1:7

Jesus Rose physically from the dead and now lives and rules eternally. He will come back to judge everyone who has ever lived: Ephesians 1:20-21, Acts 17:31, 1 Corinthians 15:20-57

Whoever belives in Jesus and is baptized will be saved and live eternally in glory; whoever does not believe will be condemned eternally: Mark 16:16, John 3:36, John 14:6, Acts 4:12

Genesis 3: Fall and Promise

Genesis & Exodus: Groundwork of the Promise Fulfillment

Matthew: Fulfillment of the Promise from Matthew’s perspective; also look at John, Mark and Luke. These books are their presentation of what they saw and heard. Please understand, you will see that belief in Jesus is the only provision available – focus on their common message.

More Thorough Info:

New Testament: A covenant that helps us see the God's promise fulfilled and the basic struggles of the early church and how they worked through items of importance.

Old Testament: The contract from God to us that we might be with him for all time. It is essentially God’s promise presented in small pieces. Wrapping our minds around these nuggets will take a lifetime as they are numerous, profound and based on the New Testament revelation provided by Jesus.

No other religion has these promises and histories to show their eternal provision.

Best wishes,
